Before and after: Headboard turned chalkboard sign

Hello everyone, this is how I turned a 5$ toddler headboard into a super cute chalkboard sign.

 Here is it sanded down don't worry about the marks on the particle board they wont show up later

Lola helping out... she usually has a white paint stripe or two by the end from always rubbing up on whatever i'm painting, I don't mind she's too cute :)

I made my own chalkboard paint with  non sanded tile grout and black satin paint. 

The paint is Botany beige by Sherwin Williams
